Introducing Greece
Greece is located at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, and Africa, with the longest coastline in the Mediterranean and over 200 inhabited islands.
The crossroads between east and west
Greece, the birthplace of democracy and western philosophy. From the vibrant and historic capital Athens to thousands of sun-drenched Mediterranean islands, Greece offers a variety of superb options for European residency.
A member of the European Union since 1981, Greece is a democratic and developed country with an advanced high-income economy, a good quality of life, and a very high standard of living. As the crossroads between east and west, it is a superb business location with the capital, Athens, providing access to both international business and travel.
As the lowest cost residency programme within the European Union, the Greek Golden Visa Programme is an attractive option, particularly for applicants whose principal aim is to leverage visa-free travel throughout the Schengen Area. There is no minimum stay requirement in Greece, and applicants' children up to the age of 21 can qualify within the application process.
Investors are granted a residence permit that is valid for 5 years and renewable thereafter. If you choose to put down roots in Greece, the Golden Visa Programme also offers a pathway to Greek and European Union citizenship after seven years.
